What are you talking about a plateau? You are still losing, aren't you? Add it up how much did you lose throughout the week? Now, don't expect it to continue at this rate and it still will not be a plateau. Maybe it would be better if you would not weigh in every day because there will be days in between when it actually may go up again and that could be a shock. It is a normal fluctuation we all have to deal with. Weigh in once a week and you will be fine.

Hi there.....Welcome! Here is some wise counsel (that I got from others when I first started); keep eating on plan; weight will fluctuate so don't worry too much about daily ups and downs as the weight will come off! The Atkins plan can be higher in salt so you will have water weight fluctations too. Ultimately, just know you can do this for youself and there will be lots of support here at FS to help you along. If you do stall out (for more than three or four weeks), then there are ways to shake things up a bit. But for now, follow the plan and truly you will be fine! Blessings....

Love you, Dani...but darling, you have dropped 6.6 pounds this past week so you are doing just great....matter of fact, I'd trade that 6.6 pounds any day...I weigh myself once a week for the exact reason that F8thful1 wrote...fluctuations. They are going to happen and rather than watch my weigh going up and down like a yo-yo on my weight history, I enter it once a week. I do weigh myself daily as I need to see if I have things going in the right or wrong direction but log only once a week. Do whatever is comfortable for you. Also, I am offering you a word of advice...watch the nuts...I got involved with them this past week and I have paid dearly to get rid of the gain I got with them....there is a reason that we are not to eat them on the first two weeks of induction...and it blew my "clean" eating to kingdom come! You are doing great....don't let the scales beat you up and remember, follow the plan and success will surely follow. Hugs...

You ladies are awesome! The only diet I've ever tried was the HCG last year and that stuff is scary how fast you drop. Without really exercising I lost 33 lbs in 5 weeks. Since thats my only experience with weight loss I guess I'm just a bit gung ho with this one, especially since I'm taking the HCG to hedge my bets a bit to start out with. But I have noticed that my jeans are a bit looser today, so maybe its more about the inches than the pounds right now. And fluctuations I'm just going to have to learn to deal with.
