Man, when I let it slide, I really let it slide. I have gained some weight, okay I've gained quite a bit of weight, and I really want to lose it! I probably look 10 years older than the 38 I am.

I would like to shake off the dumpy daycare provider look and bring out the svelte sexy momma that I want to be. I know it's a lofty ambition, even overreaching, but I am committed and my husband wants to slim down too so hopefully we can be each other's 'gentle reminder'. I'm not a runner or an aerobics person, but I do like Pilates and Yoga, I got a new puppy so I am out walking with her when it isn't stupid cold outside and I like to swim. My downfall is all the yummy things that kids like to eat that responsible, wise, healthy adults wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole not mention a voracious sweet tooth.

I probably won't log more than once or twice a week because I am crazy busy with my daycare business but I would love to connect with other like minded ladies. As much as I know my husband will support me, there's just some things only a woman can sympathize with.

Hello there! It is good to see you coming back. We all let it slide sometimes, but not giving up is what is really important! Stick to your diet, exercise and let you and your hubby motivate each other. I am sure you can get there!
