I am a silly, weird and very geeky brazilian girl.

Besides that, I am a 31-year-old computer engineer, living in Skövde, Sweden with my fiancé. I've always been fighting with my weight and just recently I got to my heaviest ever. It's all because of not dealing well with my feelings.

I've lost some weight last year, but I got into a rut in the last six months and the weight has been creeping back slowly, but surely. So I decided to switch things up and now I'm doing Weight Watchers. I hope this time it sticks!

Is It Possible to Lose 4lbs a Week?
Yeah, it is possible.
I think that what they mean by 'healthy' is that if you lose weight slower, your body has a chance to get used to your new weight and the changes of rebound are lower.
When you lose weight too fast, your body goes 'WOAH! What is going on? There must be something wrong!'. So if you indulge yourself one day and eat more than you should, you end up putting on more weight if you lost the weight at a 4lbs per week rate than if you do at 2lbs per week.

I know we all want results fast and that it is hard to keep the motivation up for too long. But that is why I am using this website to keep myself on track, no matter my weight loss rate. The only thing that matters is that today I am better than yesterday and that tomorrow I will be better than today... and so on Smile
Just don't try to rush things! Do it at your body's pace Very Happy

IT'S NOT ABOUT THE SCALE PEOPLE!!!
Very Happy I was in need of those words today also.
I got on the scale and I put on some weight. I know I've been following my diet and exercising, but it still got me annoyed.
In my case, I think it might be a mix of water retention and muscle gain, since I am close to my period and yesterday I exercised extra hard!

Glad to read those words! We all have to keep our motivation up!
