holding steady, same weight at weigh-in this week as last week.

so it's neither good nor bad except for looking 205# mark right in the face and can't seem to touch it.

why 205#? I'm at my ideal weight according to all the tables and chart. I don't really know why but it's a number that screams at me 'THIS IS THE MARK YOU NEED TO BE AT!...' because that way I can go to the clinic and weigh-in at (or bellow) 210# (with clothes on, right now it's 210.8#) with clothes).
That doesn't really seem too unreasonable is it?

at 207# right now is a total weight loss of 120# in a year and a half. Though I still don't understand how (or why) people seem so amazed by it, and looking in the mirror I still look like a hog, a zeppelin (slap a swastika on my ass and call me Hindenburg and hope I don't spontaneously combust).

207.7 lb Lost so far: 37.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
steady weight

Your last sentence gave me a good chuckle. Hopefully though that is sarcasm and you feel better about yourself than that....you should. 120 lbs down is a huge accomplishment. As to whether 205 is your ideal weight I'd suggest you go by how you think you look, how you feel...rather than what a chart says.

Jerry my dear... DO NOT!!!!!!!! BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF... you have done super good and we are all proud of you.. now it is time for YOU TO BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU AND YOU ALONE HAVE DONE. so no more monin and gronin... be happy at what has come about......and think how proud your parents would have been of all you have done.... sending blessings..

(Not long ago...)that last sentence was a true statement, now it's a bit of gallows humor and sarcasm pointed at myself. hard and driven is how I've been for years, if i wasn't I'd still be uneducated, wheelchair bound government dependent and pissed at the world (I talked about my history early after I joined the here). I suppose I should learn to unwind a bit...

I suspect it can take awhile for your "body image" to catch up with your new body. Take some time to admire yourself in the mirror. Your weight loss is amazing and sounds like you overcame a lot of other obstacles as well! Bask in your own glory!!
