OutlanderFan's Journal, 12 December 2015

After last week's slow loss, I increased my calories and fluid intake and I think this made the difference. People at work really noticing my loss now and are amazed that I am able to resist all of the carby treats that are around the office this time of year. When I tell them that I have no desire for them they are incredulous but it is true. Last year the mere sight of pumpkin bread or fudge would have sent me into a feeding frenzy and I would have started the cycle of binge, weight gain, and guilt...

I have been experimenting with different recipes and even my husband, who is a carb whore (LOL) is starting to eat fewer carbs and ACTUALLY ADMITTING that he feels better! Down about 25 lbs now and for the first time in a long time, I am not cringing at the thought of the holidays coming around.

I am very thankful for the support I get from all of you on this site. Even though I don't journal or comment every day, I do check in and read entries every single day and get more inspiration than I ever had with any other "program," and believe me, I have been through a lot of them. Have a great weekend on plan everyone!

I also am amazed at the absence of cravings for things I could NOT resist before. What a blessing!! Eliminating the carbs is the only way I can lose and not feel like I am starving and abused. We must have similar body types.

It is amazing how the cravings go away. I love my woe with LCHF and today after gaining 7 lbs, I am back on the wagon. It is also amazing how once you slide into the carbs again, how quickly you can become addicted to them again. The cravings.
