My joints hurt.

Not a good sign. My weight is too much for my frame. I don't think I've eaten a green vegetable in a month. I'm just so burnt out with the preparation needed for eating unprocessed foods.

And exercise has been almost non existant.

I'll try again.

You're stating out loud what I've been thinking silently. I'd like to take the easy way, but my blood just doesn't cooperate. What a bummer.. I get so dang tired of trying to eat right... John's breads smell so good... Oh well, . I'll try again, also..

Get a crockpot! There are tons of healthy recipes and you throw them in and its done later in the day. You add some bagged salad and dress it up with healthy vegetables. Fruit and vegetables come cut up and ready for you. Get a roast chicken that's already cooked. Depending on how many you are feeding, you can get a number of meals out of it. It's about progress not perfection. Sometimes you got to do the semi-homemade route because we don't all have the time to cook from scratch every night. Do the best you can.

You could eat like me, rice cakes or a muesli for breakfast, a salad: veggies and some protein for lunch and for dinner fruits. You will lose weight for sure and the only need time for the washing and cutting up the veggies and fruits. The chicken you can buy already grilled/ baked, eggs are really easy to boil. It's not really that difficult. You can make a nice, homemade meal on weekends when you have more time.

Sorry to hear you are frustrated. Keep plugging away and keep trying; to quote Journey - "Don't stop believing". We all go through the peaks and valleys. Sometimes they last an unbearably long time. Things will improve. You are smart and this is important. Knock it out, you can do it.
