So 'aint' we all! Did you expect that to change?

Yes Erika i did!!!!😂. Ive been so careful and wasn’t paying attention to calories for the day. Normally i input them as soon as i eat or before and I had forgotten i had a protein shake so allowed myself more calories that were meaningless (atkins treats and mini kind bars). I do better when i dont bring those into the house even tho they are not all that tasty its the sweet tooth. Back to making protein muffins that at least have some benefit for me. How are you doing on your journey? For me, getting my brain to mind me has been the tough part. Probably true for all of us. I tell it “we only want to eat things that are beneficial to health.” It tells me, “but dont you remember how good hot fudge sundaes are?” Yeesh😂. That’s my fat kid talking to my healthy kid inside my head. Which probably makes me a little nuts right.

My weight fluctuates dramatically for no apparent reason. Just have to look at the overall trend. You know what to do. 💚💜💛

My scale doesn't go down to tenths, and fluctuations are pretty standard for me. Right now, hovering between 129 and 131. I keep a rolling 7-day average to watch for trends, or I'll reel it in if it strays out of range. Many things can cause minor fluctuations.

How often do you weigh yourself? If I weigh everyday I start to obsess about it and I can go up or down by about 3 lbs. My nutritionist says to weigh every 2 weeks but no way I can go that long. I usually weigh twice a week but if I gain I will start to weigh every day to see if I lost it…always a work in progress…💜💜💜

I weigh every day, but don't anguish over it. I ate fewer calories Friday & I was up 1.4 lbs. Sat. AM. Yesterday I had a large breakfast, past for dinner & a slice of pie for dessert (around 2000 calories for day) & was down a little this morning. As long as I don't get really out of whack, I don't worry. If I see an upward trend, I just cut back a little for a few days. You'll get the hang of what works for you over time.

Oh I understand the pain! I cannot bring anything sweet in the house and will even eat my grandson's fruit snacks. He is five now and he will say Nana stay out of them! I weigh myself daily too but only go by my Friday weight.
