aBitFat's Journal, 23 March 2015

Well.. week-end started not too bad with a good Saturday (was all over the place all day, stopped at 85% RDI...) but I kind of lost it a bit on Sunday. We had lunch with the in-laws and I cooked all afternoon which resulted in overeating and getting back a bit of what I had lost last week.

A new week, a new start I'll try and go to the pool this week and then keep alcohol and sugar consumption low. Let's kick it!

Do you cook or grill? My hubby is out of town so I've been cooking fish since he hates it. =)

Both, here in the frozen land of Canada, we can't grill all year long!

I'm lucky. Live in Saskatchewan and we only lose about 4 months of grill time.

Actually, Chryseius, I like the fact that we can't grill all year long. That makes it even more special and wanted when, in the spring, I get the BBQ out, put the meat in the marinade and then fire the whole thing up! I'm sure that grilling all year long would make it loose some of it's appeal, don't you think?

I grew up with my Dad BBQing almost year round, steaks on New Years was amazing, so maybe it's lost the magic and I just don't know. I absolutely adore my BBQ. It makes life so simple.
