Thank you so much for your support, YOH! 😊 I think I've really figured everything out, thanks to some of my old buddies here taking me back down memory lane. I've done it before, and they have made me face my past & remember exactly how I done it. WHEN I get back there, I PROMISE I will never lose myself again! I hope you have a spectacular day, sweet💜!

Erika, Debra, linda and sandy thank you all so much! Diana, i leave 3 weeks from today. Nerves are starting to kick in. My goal is to be 138 or lower by surgery date. So so happy to see you up about and feeling like yourself again!! How many days a week are you working out and are you walking or doing cardio in addition?

YOH, Im working out with my weights every other day and either hiking or walking everyday. On days I don't use weights Im trying to walk at least 2 miles. I still have residual effects from having lung issues. Short of breath and tiredness is prominent.💜

Diana, before i got this pulmonary disease i ran about 3+ miles per day about 4-5 days a week and lifted 5 days a week. Last 10 years I haven’t run due to shortness of breath and frankly, kind of gave up for a bit. This past almost 1 year (on 7/12 will be 1 year) of walking daily and for past 8 months a minimum of 4-5 miles a day has really improved my lung function. I am able to get deeper fuller breaths and have had no serious episodes in this entire time (was having flare ups about every month to two months prior for past several years). Im also not working so my exposure is less. My point is that i think my lungs have improved dramatically from all this walking.

Rpl-same question for you—-i think you said you life 3X per week is that right? And do you do cardio? Or walking? And if so how much? Im concerned about the 6 weeks i will be off with limited walking as tolerated post surgery why im asking you guys.
