HELP!! I am ready to give up on this diet~ How could I gain 2 pounds when I eat no bread, no sugar etc Not only does the scale tell me, but I can feel it in my stomach! The only food I ate outside of induction for the last 2 days was 5 blueberries, about 10 walnuts and 4 slices of gyro meat, 1/2 hot dog, and 3 strawberries w/ tlb of whipped cream! If I can't tolerate that much sugar, how will I ever move off of induction??? I probably only drank 32 oz of water each day. Any suggestions WELCOME!!

Hi there. Follow strict your diet. Two weeks without any fruits and nuts. Hot dog have many crabs. Do not eat it. You must eat 20g carbs on a day not more to reduce your weight. Be sure that you eat enough calories daily. Most of them must be fats and proteins. Eat at least tree times a day. Don't starving. I wish you luck. I'm on the same diet. I'll stop the induction period when I reach my goal weight from 58 kilos. TIPS: • Count carbs, not calories. • Spread your carbohydrate intake throughout the day to avoid blood-sugar spikes. Your are not in ketosis for a 48 hours after you eat too much carbs on eat. Take your carbs from a green salads and green peppers and other green vegetables at all.

What you ate outside of your induction : 5 blueberries, about 10 walnuts and 4 slices of gyro meat, 1/2 hot dog, and 3 strawberries....Have lots of carbs and sugar!!! If you keep feeding yourself the carbs your body will use them to burn energy instead of the fat and your body wont have the chance to go through ketosis. Very important! Fill up on veggies and low or no carb dips, meats and poultry, cheese, or even buy Atkins bars if you really want something sweet. I love them and it feels like your cheating when you're not cause they're so good! :) If you put sugar in things, try Splenda instead to sweeten coffee, teas or foods you may eat. Just dont have too much of it! Keep to what you can and can't eat, dont go over your daily allowance of Carbs (20g) and you should see yourself losing weight. Good luck! P.S. Read through the Atkins recipes...they have great recipes for sweet things - even chocolately things that you can make and eat that are also acceptable for induction. You'll get lots of meal ideas and never be hungry or craving things you can't have cause you'll be eating so well. It's not as hard as it seems to be completely satisfied during induction. Hang in there!
