It must be difficult to lose weight being a cook, but if you can, it's a matter of eating real food and avoiding processed food, eating a good amount of protein that fills you up and avoids losing muscle when you lose weight, and being as physically active as possible. It can.

Thanks! Love the comments & Support. Started 2 weeks ago and only joined Fatsecret a week ago...very helpful. Recently quit myfitnessP. I was with MFP for 5 years and it is what it is. Feeling positive about this site.

Way to go! I was with my fitness pal for years as well. I am so glad I found my FatSecret. Such a great community and I love the app for tracking. If you go to the desktop version there are even more bells and whistles!
