I was up five pounds from my last weigh in due to a lapse in willpower... I bought a bag of mini peanut butter cups and ate the whole thing in two days! Took 6 days to loose it again, I could do without the self sabotage. I should stop eating leftover pasta for breakfast too I only do walking for exercise so I don't need the extra carb load.
190.0 lb Lost so far: 50.0 lb.    Still to go: 30.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I can go up 5 lbs in a day due to water weight and other factors. I weigh first in the the AM. I know a lot of people get upset when the see the scale go up and down, but there are so many things that can affect weight throughout the day.

Pb cups got me, too! I bought a bag of Reese's and other treats for a secret Santa type of thing my high schooler is doing - one gift bag per week for several weeks. We were going to put a few Reese's in each week. No one will notice if I grab a few, right? There are also Nutty Bars in there. Well, I started of with a Reese's or 2, then Nutty Bars, then other junk food in my house. Ugh. I wonder whether just the bag of junk food set me off, or if it happened to coincide with me being extra hungry or stressed? Anyway, I gained 5 pounds and I've just now lost it. You are not alone. I now feel back on track and very motivated, ready to lose the next 5 pounds.

I am my own worst enemy when it comes to sweets! I will literally eat the whole bag until it is gone because it calls out my name. Hate it!!! So for the most part I don't have anything in the house. I get what you mean on the carbs. I used to just walk but it wasn't until I started strength training that I lost weight and kept it off. Pasta is so good though!

Oh Kenna, I hear you. I cringe too. Unfortunately they are matched with a random person in the club, which is pretty large, so they don't really know each other well enough to get real gifts - and it seems like high school age kids mostly just want electronics/games or really expensive items as non-food gifts. The "Secret Santa" is optional and starts off with a survey about favorite candy, snacks, and drinks - so it is kind of this way by design. I console myself that they are being active in the club, it won't last too long, and maybe the recipient shares??

What I've learned is that, if I don't eat rich sweets, I don't crave them, but if I eat a few, I keep craving more. However, if I just eat a hard candy, like a lemon drop, it satisfies my urge for a sweet, but doesn't set off a binge.

Yep I’m guilty of the same. I have no will power. I just try not to bring that stuff in the house so it doesn’t tempt me. Again though not buying and bring it home is also a struggle. But you recovered all is not ost ! Good job!

My nutritionist suggested a five day meal plan and so far its been working. If i do 80-90 percent of the written plan Im a happier person. I hope this helps. great work so far. Maybe just thing about doing the next right thing when you are redy. I couldnt do pasta for breakfast but Ive done pizza for breakfast. I never felt good after that tho. I like some fruit to start the day when Im in a good mindset.

Yeah I love pasta there is no way I could ever do keto. I only eat it for breakfast because it's already made and I don't want it to go to waste. The kids rarely eat leftovers, and it just feels like throwing out money when it don't get eaten. PB cups are my weakness D=
