Grateful to still be here..... I've been eating off my plan.
After this weekend.....???? Could be worse next week.
But, I am SO tired of this!!! I am tired of logging, tired of weighing, mostly tired of WORRYING about my weight!
Jeez! It's never ending worry!
My plan for now is to relax a bit and keep making good choices (to the best of my ability). And try to maintain this weight for awhile. It's been a very long time since I was this weight and I did not maintain for it for very long!!! So, FS family - that is my story for today!
Hope you all have a chance to relax and have some fun with family and friends this weekend!

I know how you feel. I get tired of worrying about my weight and how it could impact my health. Sometimes it gets easier for me if I eat the same thing all the time. For awhile I was having tomato soup every day for my early dinner and grapes for a snack. I'll have a low fat cheese stick to get some protein. But right now I don't have much of a plan. I am sure it is more difficulty when you have a family to make meals for. It should be easier for me, it's just me.

Hello, I just wanted to say that you are such a inspiration to me. I have realized that I am always going to have to track my calories for the rest of my life. I do get tired of it and it’s exhausting sometimes the constant worry over it. But I am determined and seeing your weightloss is outstanding and gives me hope. Thank you

@fritzy: I agree with eating the same stuff regularly. I have my "regular" lunch... Lately. I have packed some different stuff just to change up the type of protein and fat.... etc. The problem is that I still want my granola bar or my protein bar..... I am a creature of habit! LOL! 🌞 🌝 🌎 🫶

@halomoon: I am NOBODY'S example! Hahaha - that's so funny to me! I am grateful that you can find inspiration in my story. Just remember to take inspiration from the mistakes, the slip ups, and the back story too! You can take comfort in knowing what NOT to do as well!!! I'm here to cheer you on! YOU are the inspiration, YOU are the role model, YOU are the example to follow! Never give up! 💪 💯 🌎 🫶 ☘️

@3dkids2: Taking a break from tracking by making good choices seems like practicing maintenance. To me, that is a good plan. Then when you are ready to start weight loss again, you will be motivated to actually do it without going off the rails.

@karen: I would very much like to lose some more weight. If I can get to 197, I will be classified as "overweight" instead of "obese". Ultimately, I want to be out of the obese category. That means 12 more pounds gotta go...... I will do it, but I am ok with slow progress for now. I will always have to weigh myself - just to make sure I am not going off the rails! I will always have to track calories- even if some days are only in my head and most days I am over my RDI. Again, I'm ok with slow progress. I'm just sick of obsessing over it!!!

I think I need to lose about 30 more pounds to get out of the obese classification and to "just" overweight. You must be taller than me - I'm almost 5'4"

Your doing great 3dkids2, enjoy your weekend and your family, I guess your body is happy where you are. No worries live your life girl.

@Fritzy: I'm 5'8"..... maybe shrinking now? Maybe I should measure myself! Lol! I might be deceiving myself!! Teehee!

Dang it! I'm only 5''7 1/2

I am 5’5” so I still have about 45 more pounds to lose to be considered overweight. That is my second goal after breaking the 200 line. Maybe my third now 💁‍♀️I want to get through this knee replacement without gaining weight, then get to 200, then 175, then whatever healthy bmi I can hit. That goal is going to have to wait to be determined cause it is just too far ahead and so many things can change.

@buenita: hi you!!! I hope you are having a nice weekend with the hubby! The weather here is fantastic! Sunny, warm, clear - BEAUTIFUL! Last night we had a very strong rain storm with thunder and lightning! That was quite beautiful also! Amazing!

Welllllll...... after recalculating (using 5'7" instead of 5'8") I now need to be 191 to be in the "overweight" category instead of "obese". That will be my second goal. @karen: I also want to break the 200 mark first! I am still hoping to do that before the end of the year! I had hoped to already be in onederland, but the weight is taking longer and longer to come off! I WILL NOT QUIT!! I just need to be patient and stay on track as much as possible! I'm good with it!

You are good! And you have already achieved inspiring success. I am looking forward to witnessing the remainder of your journey!

Take a break and do what's best for you.. I do know though exactly how you feel! I've been there but for me I find if I don't plan, prep and log I just go off the rails! It keeps me accountable. Yes some days I want to scream...NO More Logging but I get over it when I check my weight. 💜💜💜

@diana: I'm the same! I know I have to keep logging, keep weighing - for me, this has to be for life! But, I am just sick of it all! So, I am venting! I am serious about just maintaining for a while, but I will still have to keep weighing myself - every day! That's the only way for me to stay accountable. I will track calories also, but I will be lenient and patient. I will be ok! I'm still in this!

3D, sometimes we all need a break. If you take a little time to not log or eat a little less stringently it's OK. Over the past 3 1/2 years I have taken a week off or maybe just a few days & not weighed myself several times. I continued to log but more losely. I was usually on vacation @ the time. Just eat mindfully. You can have extra treats just don't go completely crazy. It will be fine 🙂

I second what Sherry said. Sometimes you need a break.

Hi 3dkids2 yes it was a storm here also and yes I'm enjoying the holiday and I hope you are also.

@sherryeb: thank you for your support! I am eating too much junk right now, but I AM mindful of what is going on! I refuse to QUIT! I'm just SICK of the constant stress of gaining weight, the fear of going backward, the pressure to stay under xx00 calories! GAH! I'm WAY over today!!! But tomorrow is a busy day! Will definitely be back on track and Wednesday is a day of fast! I will continue this weekly fast for health and for God. For without Him, I am nothing. And without Him, none of this is possible anyway! All Glory to God - today and EVERY day! 💪 💯 🌎 🫶 ☘️
