Feeling so depressed. I'm happy to see so many losing weight, sharing their stories. It's very discouraging to get on the scale in the morning after exercising the previous day while drinking water & doing keto, only to be told by your Dr that due to my PCOS condition, I'll burn an average of 800 calories less per day then someone without it. Meaning when I burn 1,000 calories like someone else, my body realistically only will burn 200 because of having a hormonal imbalance. Being in the medical field I learned about this & their being no cure, but was hoping he would have a solution. Yes, muscle weighs more than fat, but I don't "feel" the clarity or energy & I've already got muscle from exercising over the years so I don't need it. Granted I have 4 boys so I'm always on the go, but if the scale could at least move up a few pounds every now & then it'd be a little bit of a motivator. All keto does is keep me where I'm at. In December I got real sick & couldn't eat for a month & dropped 15lbs. 3 months later I've gained 5 back. I know it should all be back on, but I'm trying to keep the 2 pants size drop the same. Just feeling so unhappy.

I'm sorry. That has to be frustrating. Try to go by how you feel and how your clothes fit and don't give up!

I understand how frustrating it is to lose weight so slowly. I joined fs 4.5 years ago and it’s taken that long to loose 20 lbs. . In the last 12 months I have average about 1 lb lose per month. But I consider that a win. Because that time would have gone by whether I focused on my health or not. So glad I stayed the course. I fall off track, just like most everyone, but the key is to dust yourself off, forgive yourself and keep trying. I’m rooting for you. Blessing on your health journey
