Boy, did I ever fall off.. no working out, eating terribly, i even forget what a portion size is.. I feel awful, terrible about myself, and I don't really know how to start again. I'm even afraid to go work out, not sure why, maybe because I won't be as strong as I was. It was very hard to post my current weight, but I guess that's what this site is for, support, and understanding about the struggle we go through to be healthy. I really do think I'm addicted to food, and that I use it to make myself feel better, even though it eventually makes me feel much worse. Today I'm starting over, trying again, and I needed to write this so I could hold myself accountable.

Don't feel bad about yourself, you are human and we all have been there. At least you are at a point that you know you need to make a change that's a start. Make some small changes first if that's what you need. When I'm alone I find that I eat so much worse, because nobody is around to see me do it, so it makes it okay...yeah right. We've all been in that bad spot. Just keep trying and keep moving forward. You can do it.

Everyone falls off the wagon! Don't beat yourself up over it. Your job is hard on you. You can either let this be a permanent set back or a minor trip up. It's your decision. Everyone here wants to see you succeed, so do that! Make yourself proud. You can't do it for anyone but yourself. You are the most important person. If something isn't making you happy, change it! You know what you have to do. Your knowledge isn't gone. Access it and put it to good use. I know you can do it.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm not letting it bother me. At the beginning of this year I started playing racquetball for 2 hours on Friday mornings. This caused my elbow and shoulder to hurt so bad for the entire week that I simply couldn't do any weight training (which I don't like doing anyway). I'm also working on several large projects that are keeping me real busy, so the cardio also went by the wayside - except for racquetball - love the racquetball. Bottom line - I put on 10 pounds since the beginning of the year, which is ok since 185 was too thin for me, but getting back on track for health reasons vs. losing weight is quite a struggle. Rest assured, you are not alone. We will both get back on track and be successful. I know this because now we know, and knowing is half the battle.
