i thought i was doing pretty good with my eating all week especially considering i gave up nursing this week which could have led to a lot of emotional eating. i think i was more concerned about weaning than joey; if he had put up any fuss we would still be nursing. its just hard knowing that it;s something i will never share with him again, but i know i need to let my baby boy grow up!

I didn't get much exercise in this past week. The weather has been terrible and I usually run outside with Joey so running in the rain isn't really an option since we got the cheaper jogger (no rain guard). I know I should be doing something more though. Just because I can't follow my running plan doesn't mean I shouldn't be doing something else. There are plenty of exercise options on netflix instant. I just need to find the right time to squeeze it in while Joey is napping. Chasing Joey around now must count for something though and we love having our dance parties!

Like I said I did a pretty good job with my diet even though I went out to eat twice and did a family dinner with dessert (yummy strawberry tart). But I tracked everything and I knew to plan ahead. I think I would have seen better results if I hadn't used the majority of my weekly points last night for father's day dinner last night. It tasted so good, but I'm still paying for it this morning with a very gross heavy feeling in my stomach. I guess I'm just not used to eating like that anymore which is definitely a good thing!
