It's official now. I am in PLATEAU-LAND!!!! The frustrating, spirit-deflating, mind-numbing vortex of despair!!!!!!!!!! I have been doing everything right, increased cardio work, weight training, calorie monitoring, carbs lowered, increased protien, taking supplements, having whey, fruits and veggies, having good carbs only, givign up alcohol....and NADA!!! Nothing to show for it!!! Close to a month...actually over a month, since I was at my lowest weight for JUST A DAY! (May 4th, 141.6 pds).

I'm gonna have to research how to get out of this plateau-land soon. I do know that my body likes to eek out a few pounds for a while, and then suddenly go into a couple months of plateau!!! So it might be a matter of waiting it out..but dammit! I want results!!! NOW!!! I wanted to lose those 4 pounds and treat myself with new cute workout clothes and new running shoes!! I can't keep delaying this!! Doesn't the effing weight scale know it's cutting into my shopping priority???!! { Insert MAD, MAD FACE here!}

P.S: Ok, I did some real quick by-the-seat-of-my-pants research into what was happenign around the May 4th period that caused me to lose weight, and then start gainign back. One thing jumps out: IT'S ALL BADANDEE'S FAULT!!!! She said on my journal on May5th (my lowest weight day) that she was jealous of my huge weight loss, and that's done it!!! Since then my graph has gone climbing higher, relentlessly!! That, and oh, she made me workout hard on the 4th, but stopped working out with me from the 5th on!!! So, yeah, it's all her fault!!!!!!!!!! :(

P.P.S: A sane, take-home lesson it seems is that I need to ramp up the cardio back to how it was, sweat-drippign running for 30 mins as long as I can, with short bursts of 6 mph, biking for 30 mins, elliptical or cross-trainer, and rowing for 12-14 mins. All of these need to be in intense cardio range!! For at least an hour daily!
143.8 lb Lost so far: 34.2 lb.    Still to go: 13.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
gaining 1.9 lb a week

Nothing to show for it? How about all the benefits to your body of healthy eating and exercise for a month? Keep up the great work, and I'm sure the scale will show some changes soon.

no changes? I see a graph that's going down, down, down! Keep on doing what you're doing. It's a test of wills!!! Don't let the scale beat you down! Hey, have you tried spinning classes at your new gym? THat will definitely get you sweating.
