I don't know how accurate the 2 scales are. But the new scale gave me the same weight twice so I'm posting it. I wonder if the very cold house has anything to do with scales giving different weights if you step on them several times. Most of the figures I was getting were even lower and I know couldn't be right.
I am sticking to plan. Made it out of the grocery store with no "junk". Just went in for a couple of things - milk the most important item. I did get a quart of egg nog. I'm getting stressed. The work under my house getting rid of mold and water damage is taking longer than expected and I was given and updated cost for additional time and hauling and disposal of contaminated items. But the guy has another job going on during the same time and all he did yesterday was take away most of the contaminated insulation and left the fans running and de humidifier running. He had told me 3 days for the equipment but now apparently it needs to continue to run until he has the time to come back. I think I am going to turn off one of the fans that is outside the house against the wall blowing air out. My next door neighbor has had 4 or 5 nights where she can't sleep because it is so noisy.

mine says I need new batteries when it's too cold, it doesn't. good job making it out of the store without any junk. unless your neighbors are complaining about the fans, I wouldn't worry about it. I had them in my condo for four days, it just turns into background noise at night. yeah, there's a story. don't live under an idiot.

Katsolo - my neighbor wasn't exactly complaining, just wondering how much longer. She has to use ear plugs to try to sleep. Our houses aren't that close but close enough that she hears the fan. I'm getting upset with the technician taking care of things. I thought he was doing it all, turns out there is mold that the regular cleaning he did, didn't take care of. Has to be sanded and wire brushed and someone else does that! That department just called me and if I'm lucky I can be put on their schedule late next week. In the meantime it's 55 degrees in the house. Sorry for venting.................
