PHgardener's Journal, 03 April 2014

I did my 3 miles on the treadmill in 37 minutes and 1.20 miles in 20 minutes on the Ellicptical. This has been my morning work out for the past 4 weeks. Then at 6 pm I when in to town to do 5K training ant that was 3 more miles in 50 minutes. The point of this post is when I do my work outs in the morning I have a ton of energy but on Wednesdays when I need to do training I get half way though it and start burning out. The trainer keeps telling use we need to eat carbs before training for energy. On Atkins we only get so meany carbs a day.Any one here have any suggestions? I can not keep burning out in training.

If you continue to go low carbs you should keep your heart rate in the fat burning zone or risk burning up muscle mass when working out. Low carb is difficult with intense workouts.
