Cheryle I have been doingIF for over a year now and I find it easier for me to not worry about my morning meals anymore! I eat a large meal for lunch and a salad for dinner and end eating by 7ish. I also fast 2x a week Mon&Thurs so my last meal the day before and I eat my salad the next evening. I have lost almost 50 lbs and really dont feel deprived or not getting what I want to have. I know its hard to change the way we eat but for me after 66 years I know that I have tasted and eaten everything! Now I am selective and get creative I still enjoy my favorite meals but instead of pasta and meatball with sausage I have zucchini pasta and all the fixins! It fills me up and the carbs are less, (I also on Keto so low carbs high protien). So be creative and feel enpowered! We won't starve from one meal to the next and who knows you may be suprized at the results.

This is becoming a very large challenge for me. I can not get the timing right. I get up at 6 am each morning - why I do not know. I am retired now and should sleep in, but can not. I am trying to have my biggest meal at noon or no later than 1pm. and the evening or last meal around 6 or 7. I know I have only been at this 2 weeks now and should be patient but it is so hard. I like an orderly routine this is such a mess. Quick question you fast 2 times a week along with the intermit fasting? Do you have a log or journal when you do this and do you just go without everything on those 2 days? I really need all the help I can get. My husband of 32 years is also retired and loves to just eat out - his habit is the main reason I am dieting using the fasting - it fits in when he likes to eat.

What I do is when I wake up I "walk" in my house, I have a fitbit and it tracks my steps and I have a daily goal of 10,000 steps. This gives me something to do and I really love it! Walk at your own pace and give youself some challenge. I use my phone and listen to podcasts or an audio book and the time will fly by! Keep me posted and remember this is NEW and a CHALLENGE but you can do this.
