If you think life is stressful now, just think about the stress you will be under as you develop obesity related illnesses and conditions. Try to get some help with stress management. At least, for now, concentrate just on maintaining your current weight. Give yourself time to regroup then keep moving forward. There will never be a time in your life that is stress free..

Hang in there, Kara. You can do it. It has taken me years to be where I'm at. Too late for me, as I still need meds to manage my diabetes. It's not smooth sailing, but it can be done!

"there will never be a time in your life that is stress free" - so true! Hang in there, Kara, focus on making healthy choices even if the calories are high. It's easy to get caught up in junk food.

Kara keep track and pray that you can become committed to your health. I have stopped and started and restarted again. I stay at 213 to 210 most of the time . It is very depressing to gain and not loose but think about you even when your stressed. Sometimes I just throw up my hands and say what the h----. But return to this sight and start again.

We all struggle! I’ve learned that we need to be more careful with our words, they are so powerful. Write a note on the fridge that says “I am beautiful, I am skinny, I am motivated, I am determined, I will lose weight” and say it out loud 20 times a day. They call it “spelling” for a reason. Words are spells. We got this!

Just because a person is skinny is no guarantee of health. Rather than focusing on a weight number, focus on contributing to your overall health.
