okay,

so this week i didn't lose as much as i would've liked to, but that's not because i didn't follow the plan or exercise like a mad woman!!! i suppose things just slow down after the first week. three pounds is still good, right?? grrr. i'm a little frustrated.
anyway,
at least i reached my second mini-goal of losing ten pounds before 5/2. and this week is a new week, so... forward motion!! :)
thank you FS buds, for all your love and encouragement. i'm not sure i could do this without you.
176.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 31.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Selutz, try this and I know it's weird. But eat more calories! I know, but see I was doing the same thing and my weight quit budging and now I'm losing again. It has to do with your metabolism it slows down because it thinks you are starving and so you quit burning fat. Your mind thinks if I eat less I'm sure to lose weight but in fact we've got to add fuel to the fire, so to speak! give it a whirl and increase it by just a little bit and see if that helps you to move. Your diet calendar looks great, you are recording and eating healthy, great job.

3lbs is awesome!! Don't ever second guess a loss, because a loss is a loss, no matter how little you think it is. Commitment is the most important thing to any program.

Ditto--10 lbs is 2 weeks is aMAzing, considering average weight loss is something like 1 or 2 lbs a week. But I feel your pain. You're working so hard and after the first week 3 lbs doesn't seem that big. Also, if you're exercising a lot you may also be adding muscle, which weighs more than fat. Keep going!
