Hey all!
I'm pretty psyched over more weight loss. I have really been trying to follow the diet, but my life is crazy lately with the end of the school year. I am in the teacher education program and am currently taking 3 summer classes, have two kids in school, work at the after-school care program, etc... work, school, kids, house, etc.. just typical I suppose, but I'm happy to say I've been doing my best to keep the calories realistic. End of school parties with cookies that I've had to make and pizza and such. I've had my share of stuff, but instead of a handful of cookies, I'll have one. It was tough making the cookies.. batches and batches.. and not eating a bunch.. of course you have to try them to make sure they're ok. :)
ANYway... Just a tip for those that are looking for easy smoothies. I (and my kids) enjoy Kefir. It's a cultured milk product available in the dairy section. It comes in the typical flavors and is 174 calories per cup. Since EFS suggests less than 200 calories, it's perfect.
I'm still remaining cautious about my weight loss only because I can feel my body fighting me to remain near 240. Until I'm at least 5-6 lbs away from 240, I can't relax. More exercise (running and weights today) and watching the diet. I'll get there. :)
For those with kids, enjoy yourselves for a couple more days.. summer is almost here!
