OMG!! 🙈😫 In my defense I did eat a Mexican dinner, washed down with bottle of red last night. Slept like log.
Back to it... keto & 16:8. Will just have the one meal tonight, small steak & mixed green salad. Water only today!!! Need to flush my liver & poor kidneys.
Moving forward... 💪 Have a good day peeps xx

It was unfortunately a few weeks of utter breakdown. Between depression & then a panic attact (now on meds for vertigo) ... I just let the ball drop to concentrate on relaxing, getting my head straight. So am now getting back on the boat.

Treats are always needed ! I’m having takeaway pizza tonight with the family ...I might only put one foot on the scales next time I weigh in ! 😂

Let me know if that one foot on the scale trick works 🤣🤣

Sorry to hear you have been through the wringer. I do find exercise a great help to get through hard times. The routine and repetition I find soothing! (and great for body shape too, lol)

I've a good friend who works out to blow off steam & if she's had a bad day, she uses it to help clear her head. I've tried it in the past but I've found only swimming helps clear my head. And with pools shut atm, our little paddling pool ain't gonna cut it. My husband bought a brand new treadmill, at my request. Its been in the house 3 weeks. I've yet to step on it. It came with a one year subscription for iFit. I'm sick of myself & mostly my head!!!

The sleep after a bottle of wine is so good! Just a bonus after the pleasure of drinking it!

I have had a couple of horrible weeks with my autistic toddler.. from being up since 3.30 am to his tantrums. I am mentally drained but i will sabotaging my mental health even more if I don’t feel confident again in my clothes. Everyone goes through different struggles daily but don’t forget why you started. Just yesterday I went to Morrison’s and my freezer is now full of vegs. It’s not the healthiest compared to fresh but why did I do it? Because I know there will be times I will think about cheating if I have to go through a massive effort to cook or if I Am in a bad day.

Yes, Jade, I am a swimmer and have found the lack of a swimming pool has been really detrimental to my mood and life in general. I bought a turbo trainer and that has been a lifesaver for me.

I understand what you mean about feeling confident in your clothes pcrav. It is not just vanity. It is a confidence boost and I feel if I look as though I have got it together maybe, in reality, I do! (maybe!)

I am trying to stay off the wine trytry. I am a fiend for it. My biggest vice in life.

Absolutely Anne. I do take the feeling good in my own skin very on board. If you don’t have confidence and like how you look physical the rest will be affected naturally.

Pcrav1992, I can only imagine the challenges an autistic child brings with them. Being in lockdown & homeschooling has loads of challenges but your situation makes for more challenging. I've a son who is borderline ADHD & a 2nd who's dyslexic with ADD. The lad with ADHD is on the treadmill almost daily since it arrived. So it's a godsend as it helps him burn energy. They're all back in school, so it's time for me to get a grip. My fridge has lots of frozen veg & even my fridge has lots of salad & veg items. Arghhhh!!! I'm fed up... that doesn't mean I'm giving up. I will get there, just need to find my mojo & cling onto it better.

You can do this! Now you will have more time to get your focus and also... as an encouragement: my son is 4 in a very bad stage and not in school or anything. I am still working and doing all mainly by myself as my partner works long hours and we have no family here. Refresh and tomorrow is a new day! You got this !💪
