Lol, anxieties realized!! What can I say, I know my body & it's just not going to cooperate.

No changing my weight even though I'm up. As soon as I started working out, immediate 6lb gain & I've been trying to work my way back down pretty much since Mon. Was 1/2 way back down but after yesterday's workout, back up another lb. If my body worked off of just the the math, I should be down 4.7lbs, but not me. Lol, not in this universe. This is why I don't set up goals. I can only hope there's measurement difference come Feb 1st (even at that I'm not expecting much).

Once financial aid comes in things are gonna shake up. I'm going to start drinking at least 2 protein shakes (if not 3) everyday. That's 435 cals out of my allotment but such is life. And although I won't be proud of it, I'm probably going to do a detox/cleanse as well. Not one that requires me not to eat at least 1200 cals though. Not willing to go that far. Feel like I need to kick start my body into losing mode so that the wheels in this engine will start moving.

240.0 lb Lost so far: 12.4 lb.    Still to go: 100.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Shay, have you tried spiking? That always works for me.

Yes & it didn't work for me. I did it from Sept through the beginning of Oct. All that did is spike my weight up a few lbs which then took until my next spike day to get it back down (kind of like what working out does to me, but I wasn't formally working out when I was spiking).

Wow. That's too bad. It just goes to show, what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. By the way, have I told you how adorable your picture is?

Thanks = ) I know that I don't fit into the average person category, esp when it comes to weight. Doctors figured that out when I was 5. Just gotta keep trying this & that till something works. May mean dropping my intake to 1200-1300 cals when I start the protein shakes.

You do seem to have a rough time of it. Hang in there though. And you know exercise is good for you, no matter what the scale says. Hang in there.
