Jamaica4god's Journal, 17 January 2011

It was so nice to have my husband join me when I was doing the Biggest Loser Workout Video. I have for so long had this fear of embarrassment to exercise in front of him. I just don't want to look like a fool. I think over the last week I have become more and more comfortable with having him around while I am working out and not be embarrassed. I recognize that I am not a seasoned trainer, so I may look funny doing some of the exercises at my weight, and I am ok with that because I know I am getting better and healthier, and I want him to get healthier also.

So there it is. Now if I could just stay away from this chocolate!!! I feel that if I don't avoid it altogether then I will over indulge. I still need to learn how to say "only one" ad enjoy that one instead of feeling insanely guilty about it.

I hear you with the chocolate. I just got 3 boxes of Slim Fast snack bars; one double dutch chocolate bar, one peanut and caramel bar, and one peanut and nougat bars. I keep one at home and two at work, to stave off the chocolate lust I am plagued with, lol. Maybe that will help you, too?

That's a good idea. I think I'll get some of those. Thanks!

You're welcome. Also, FYI, Weight Watchers has a great Whitman's chocolates treat. They are bite sized, come in many different flavors, and REALLY hit that chocolate spot

You are doing great! Letting your Husband see you work out is probably good. It might make him feel like he is a help and being part of your journey. That chocolate craving is rough! I walked by the baker at the grocery and the smell of icing was so enticing! :) Definitely hard to resist. I think I will try Cyber's advice and get some slim fast bars too!
