I didn't gain as much as usual during the holiday season since I had peridontal surgery on the 22nd. I love turkey dressing, I made a very non-dietary squash casserole, chocolate, shortbread, wine... many many bad things my teeth could handle. Since them I've been doing a ton of soup with crackers. I just joined a challenge that begins tomorrow. I need to get my eating in control. I have 6 weeks before repeating my blood work. I see my GP and specialist beginning of March. I'd love to get below 160 by them. Enough complaining and yipping about it, I MUST DO IT.

Happy New Year Sandra! I thought you were gone away for the holidays, I'm sorry to hear you had surgery right before Christmas. I hope you're not in pain anymore and ready to attack this new year. I wish you the best, and I hope we'll make it to the snowshoe ride someday soon! Good luck with your challenge, I'm sure that if you focus during the next 6 weeks you can make a big difference with the blood work. Let's just do it, and start now!
