i didnt actually weigh in again...in fact, i havent weighed myself in awhile. It just frustrates me to see im not losing weight. i really need to exercise more...ive been fighting a nasty cold the past few days which isnt helping, but im trying. wish i had more support from my family
177.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 27.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Losing weight is mostly a solitary journey. Yes, it's great to have support, but in the end it's up to you. Are you tracking all your food honestly? All the bites, licks and tastes add up and can inhibit weight loss. Are you drinking water/liquids? It flushes out sodium and keeps things moving. Are you getting enough lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies? Protein and high fiber food helps us lose better than any other food groups. Are you eating too many processed foods? Processed foods contain tons of sodium. Do things to help excite yourself to lose. Try a new exercise class. Get a new workout dvd. Read some fitness magazines. Try a new diet plan. Anything to motivate and help you lose. Remember if you do something half way, you will get half the results. Also, an inspiration board might help. Get a cheap cork board at walmart (they have different sizes). Put recipes, quotes, pictures, etc. (anything that helps to inspire you). Try new recipes. Mamabear, I don't mean to sound like I know everything but you've been struggling a bit and just want to help. I see that your fat counts are a bit high which could account for the slow losses you've had. Most sites I've seen say to eat between 25 and 35 grams of fat in a day. I know it's a lot to keep track of, but maybe you could lower it just a bit and see what happens. I only wish you the best so please don't feel like I'm a know-it-all. Believe me, it's taken me three tries to get it right. This is the third time I've lost weight....the first time I lost 80 and gained it back, second time I lost 50, and gained it back. So I know a little about weight loss. We just can't give up. Keep going because you're doing great. Dee :)

hey Mamabear, keep at it. i'm sorry youre not feeling supported by your family that can be really hard but keep going and be determined to show them that you can do it. Remember you have a little FS family here that will support you all the way :0) i agree with both of the comments above its really important to be honest with your tracking and trying to keep the fat content down a little at least thats one of my goals)try not to be disheartend and if you feel up to it get on those scales you never know they might just suprise you!
