a small loss but ill take it! always lose slowly when i step up the exercise, feeling good but a bit sore. have been good with food and diarying what im eating and that helps, cheers everyone
157.6 lb Lost so far: 18.7 lb.    Still to go: 9.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

The slower loss when you step up the exercise is probably because you're gaining muscle and, as that's what helps burn the fat, that's the best kind of loss. As you know, keep doing what you should and the results do eventually follow. Good luck!

Actually, it takes weeks/months of hard work for a woman to gain an actual pound of muscle. When you have sore muscles (like if you start a new exercise plan or change your old one), your muscles retain water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as no loss, smaller loss than usual or a temporary gain. It will go away when your muscles get used to the new exercise. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations.
