Hi Donniemae! You have come to the right place to get encouragement, ideas, and a few laughs! Have you got a doctor that can keep track of your vital signs as you drop the extra weight? If I lose 2 oz. a day I'm happy. I used to follow a low carb diet, and was very successful, but found it not to be healthy for me. This time I am using "calories in, calories out" or CICO. This is much easier for me. A suggestion is to try to get rid of the prepackaged chips and cookies. Maybe you'd enjoy some fruit and cheese for snacks. Some decaf tea maybe a pleasant "go to" when you just have to have something.

Hi Donniemae, you are welcome. An exercise goal that you may want to try is to increase your daily steps by 1 step. Maybe, today you take 2 steps inside the house, tomorrow try 3 steps. This might be gentle to your joints.
