Our bodies fluctuate daily, with water retention, bowels and, if you're female, monthly cycles. Sometimes, our bodies need to adjust to the new weight as well, causing unwanted plateaus. Give your body time to adjust, you've done so well, don't give up. Stress too can cause weight gain (at least in me it does, even when eating right!)

Yes @ichfjo is totally correct. I've been publishing my daily weight on and off to prove this when I never have before, to show it's nothing to worry about. In fact, I published one today. Yesterday morning I weighed 132lbs because I've been eating pasta like a pig for nearly 4 days straight. Body was holding water so much that I looked like I was pregnant! I skipped the past last night and just ate most veggies for my carb intake. What happened? This morning I weigh 128.2lbs. I ain't concerned. It happens. Weigh yourself in the mornings before you eat or drink anything to see your weight flux and to make a rough average of what your 'true weight' is. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Thank you both for your support and comments. I weigh myself in the morning before eating or drinking band cause I know I will fluctuate through the day and that some days I will fluctuate more than others, so I use that early weight as a baseline. Salt and carbs will result in a higher weight the next morning so I wasn’t concerned Monday and Tuesday after the weekend because I felt I knew what that increase was about. However, I expected to be down this morning, so I was disappointed and discouraged to see that not only did the number not go down, it went up! I’m letting go of that disappointment and discouragement, enjoying this day, and I’ll see what tomorrow and the coming days bring. I’m not quite where I wanted to be, but I’m not far off and I’m still pleased with my progress.

“Because,” not “band cause.”

It looks to me like you might be dropping weight too quickly. Your metabolism can rebel when you do this.

My calorie allowance is 2000. That seems high for weight loss. Can I adjust that lower, say 1200 as a base. And do I get credit calories for exercise

Mumster, you can change your calorie allowance by logging into the FS website; I don’t think it can be done on mobile.

Actually, I would not know how to change my calorie allowance on the website, but on the app version, you click "reports" at the bottom, then there is a "bullseye" icon at the top right corner, in order to choose your own goals. Tlg28, how would I do it on the website?
