As always I hate logging in a gain. I am glad it is less than a pound (0.6) but gains are never nice. No surprise when I look at the week. I spent 4 days above my window and overall ended up averaging 15 calories above the highest end of the window. So a modest gain isn't particularly surprising. What is surprising is how hard I found it to stay consistent this week. Really no reason that I can see other than I just didn't. New week coming up....!

More work being done at my house this past week. The barn is all trimmed out and ready for painting next month. New set of barn stairs are in progress. All the custom frames are within inches of being done. Today I will be choosing which pictures and glass go with which frames. Monday the fellow will do the part that holds the picture in likely with staples. Then it will be hanging them. And I sold the 1985 van yesterday!! I am so glad as it went to a good friend who will appreciate and enjoy it.

0.6 pounds is not that bad . I often fluctuate over 3 pounds in a day . Water , food and , fiber weight . However it is good to stay in your calorie limits to maintain or achieve your goal weight.

Thanks Trugador. I also fluctuate wildly so I have dealt with that by only weighing at one time in the day and call it a snapshot. Then when I track my progress I can see the trend (the forest) and not the crazy fluctuations (the trees)! The calorie limits make sense to my pragmatic mathematical mind so that is the method I am working with.

Sounds like you have some good progress happening at your place. Tiny weight blip, but I get it being a hit frustrated. This has been a poor week for me with control. Some weeks it almost seems easy and others... Managing diet and exercise seems such a struggle. ❤️

Melissa - I know what you mean. Truly in the end it is all a 'mind' game. What is going on in our heads affects our actions. Running is like that too. I could be running along and then I'd start psyching myself out that I had run this distance and that was crazy far. I would have to do a body scan - how is my breathing? How are my legs doing? Often I found the body was doing fine it was my mind that caused the trouble so then it was lots of internal reassurance that I truly 'had this'! We are such complicated funny creatures!
