started 7 weeks ago on Atkin site, lost 24 lbs. and now stalled, a suggestion to try this site sent me here, so lets see what you got!
224.0 lb Lost so far: 23.0 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

what do you do on the atkins diet...congrats on you weight loss

When you say "stalled" how long are you talking. A week or so of the stay the same isn't a big deal. Many people on low carb may stay the same on the scale for a bit, but see fat loss. I know people who have gone down in sizes and haven't see the scale move for a while. After losing so much weight, maybe your body is just adjusting to the loss. If it's been less than a week, you might just need patience. You could wake up tomorrow with a loss. Do you track what you eat? If you eat too much, even on Atkins, you can gain. Are you drinking water? (especially important on low carb). Are you eating bars and shakes? I have heard some people stall with eating them. Are you being active? No, you don't need to exercise to lose weight, but it can help. After the initial weight loss, our weight loss tends to slow to a pound or two a week. Are you within this range? Make sure you eating the right foods (if your on induction). If you have had a loss in the last week, then you are doing fine. No one loses every day.

Thanks for the moral boost, I needed it. I've done this diet a few times in the passed, it always works well for me. I know about going a week with no change or even gaining a few pounds, then, we used to call it the whoosh and drop 2-5 lbs., but this is the second time I'm stalled in a month, the first time I lost 1.5 lbs., weighing in at 222.5, this time its a week and a half and I seem to be going up and down, but never lower then 223. I've done a little research and found I might need to increase my fat and veggie intake. Atkins site has been acting up and making it difficult to enter all my intake so its hard to see the real numbers. I consider myself in OWL and my exercise is weight lifting and elliptical. Again thanks for the support, I might be to impatient, I'm looking for 2-5 lbs. a week
