Did not write down calories yesterday and 156 blood sugar this morning.

I will write it down in retrospect although it's easy to forget some of the bad food choices that passed between my teeth. It's a self-indulgent thing to eat and think you will not only remember each detail but that somehow you will have resisted over eating. Almost 1359 yesterday. At least since January 8 I have lost about 10 lbs from my morning weigh in. I will do blood sugar and blood pressure every afternoon from now on.

Sadly cream in my coffee was not quelled by one lactaid. Need to be more cautious. Unfortunately also, at the time I did not have an inkling that baked Lays potato crisp ,flavored with sour cream and onion, contains various milk derived components. However, I must be pretty sensitive because I would think that six chips couldn't hold that much much of the milk's irritation.

On the other hand, it's possible also that it's not just milk but rich foods such as the home made berry scone I ate half of and the fatty aspect of my coffee whitener.

Not wanting to eat much today. Tender tummy. Even boiled eggs sound oppressive. Got a tangerine and a piece of bread down for lunch and that seemed to make a disturbance to status quo, a small one, but still enough to discourage further eating. At work drank a couple of black tea and a diluted coffee with soy milk.

Just keep reminding yourself that the damage to your blood vessels and nerves occur not only with chronic high blood Sugars but also with individual spikes over 140. A little Tuesday morning motivation. A type 2 diabetic acquaintance of mine is having her foot amputated this morning because she developed gangrene from her unchecked high blood sugars.
