So despite completely going off plan during the dinner party, which included chinese food, chocolate cake and drinks, as well as having 3 Atkins shakes I still managed to drop a pound and I am ecstatic! After the dinner party I weighed myself and the scale said I gained 3 pounds! I was like oh crap! So I was very strict this whole week and am more than pleased with my one pound loss. I didn't lose any inches in the hips but I did manage to lose half an inch off my waist. Now hips are at 44.5" and waist is at 29". I haven't been measuring the waist at my belly button so I want to do that now. My measurement as of now of my waist at belly button is 33".
171.5 lb Lost so far: 13.5 lb.    Still to go: 36.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good job!! I love when we have a "bad day" but we can still make it right by the end of the week. Don't you feel so in control when that happens? Congrats on the loss!
