I am happy to see 141 today even though it is not a loss. I had bounced up to 142/143 for most of the week this past week since my last weigh in so was glad to see it come back down. I had a good workout yesterday- weights, 30 min. elliptical, and then 20 min. of swimming. I was very out of breath during the swimming. I'm not sure if I mentioned I have severe asthma and have been on steroid medication for it for years, but my lungs underwater like that seem to make me really short of breath. I powered through it though. Today is an off workout day, although I will prob. have a good session of floor toning tonight while watching the Biggest Loser! Eating good today too, so feeling good about all that too.
141.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 7.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
steady weight

You be careful not to push it to much with asthma, be no good getting ill and breathless and having to go back on steriod's, you of all people know how they can put back on the weight so fast. 3 lb more to go, I wont say only as this is the hardest bit to lose. Stay well

You're very adventurous to attempt a triathalon when you have asthma! Do take care not to aggravate your condition. Perhaps consult a doctor and find out if there is anything you can do to improve your performance and lesson your risks. I need to get back to my toning exercises when I watch tv. Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for the notes, ladies. Just to clarify- I am currently on steroid medication- have been for 9 years. They change and adjust it but I need it simply to be able to breathe. I am on high levels so hoping to be able to get by on less of the amounts. We had lessened it a few months ago but I was back to wheezing. It allows me to be able to workout hard and do all the normal stuff. It stinks, but it is what it is. I am hoping to as I attempt to get slimmer that that will be even more helpful to my body.

Does your MD know that you're training for a triathalon? Maybe you need either a medication dose adjustment (just a tweeking) or maybe a per diem inhaler? Steroids are a bitch b/c they make you gain weight. =( I don't think you're overtraining, per se. It seems like you're aware of your asthma. If it continues to flare up, I would check w/a pulmonologist (lung doctor). Good luck, Rachel!
