Had a good workout today- 30 min of weights then we went to the gym for 30 min. of running/ walking. We ran a mile in 12 min. Not super fast, but we did it and then walked the rest. I got a watch with a timer on it so I can be exact rather than looking up on the wall like we were doing. I ate super healthy and lite the rest of the day then we went out for Chinese tonight and I overate. I didn't actually have a huge amount of food but still enough where I should have stopped earlier b/c I was full. I'm not stressing about it though.

I decided to stop worrying about my few pounds I want to lose so much. Yes I still want to lose it but I was thinking I want to be healthy but it is just a waste of time to let a pound or two up or down set the tone for the day. What does it really matter in the end? What if we were told we had cancer or something like that- then that would change everything. Who would care then about worrying about a stupid pound or two up or down? It doesn't matter. Being healthy and happy and using our lives wisely is what matters. So I am going to keep working out, eating well and trying to lose a few more, but not get too stressed about it all.

Hey a 12 min mile is great! You'll run faster and faster once you start getting used to it. We all have to start somewhere! My husband is a runner, and I see him always going back to this one book called, "The Competitive Runner's Handbook: The bestselling guid to running 5Ks through marathons". He also subscribes to Runner's World. He shows me articles from there all the time. I'm so happy for you that you're no longer stressing and worrying. You are a wise woman. It's similar to my way of thinking about pregnancy. I just need to stop STRESSING! LOL. Watch, now that you're in this new mindset, the pounds will just melt away. =) ((HUGS))
