Met calorie goal.
Bike for 29 minutes.
Going to stretch in a little while.

Have PT in the morning, so I'm going to do some stretches tonight that we usually don't do at PT.

I asked my nephrologist if planking is something I can do. She said yes, just not after dialysis. Soooo, I'm going to ask the physical therapist tomorrow for tips! Shout out to jcmama777 for the idea! :)

Did he know what planking was? I might suggest not to put the weight and stress on your graft arm.

Thanks Kenna. Yes, and I also got clearance from the vascular surgeon that does my fistulaplasty. I was concerned about it too...and he suggested that I not do it immediately after dialysis. Same with resistance bands...when I stretch right after dialysis I rotate in stretches that don't use the bands so I don't put stress on that arm. Asked about it before I started PT so I would know my boundaries. When I started dialysis, I was told not to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk. I guess things are better now, cuz both doctors approved it. I have been so cautious! Appreciate that you are looking out for me! :)
