Ugg, I just don't know anymore. I keep under my RDI and try to choose the best I can to eat. I'm on a very tight budget and make do with what I have. I've added in lots of veggies and protein. I could cut out a lot more carbs, but it's hard. I've done cut out most junk food and soda. I only drink water or homemade lemon water with the occasional glass of juice (for urine problems) and milk. I'm also stressed because my OBGYN wants me to lose 100 pounds by February and I've only lost 20 since I've seen her last in July. She is a mean doctor who puts me down, but she is the only one in my area who will take my case. She told me last time that I was nothing and that if I didn't lose the weight I will always be nothing. It's hard trying to do this with 2 different types of metabolism problems. I'm trying my best and that's all I can do. I've been in a depression for the last little bit. Honestly dread going back to her but I have to get another biopsy done to see if the cancer cells have grown back or not. Hopefully this is just water weight again from excess carbs.

first off, who is she to tell you or any one else you are nothing? You don't have to take that from anyone. Without patients she wouldn't have a pay check. I would find another doctor. God loves us unconditionally and we all have a purpose.

Hopefully you can find a better person to be your doctor. Everyone needs all the support they can get. Personally, I think losing that much weight by February is unrealistic. Do the best you .One day at a time. Prayers for a good outcome for you.

Loosing weight is a journey, don’t worry about the deadline, don’t pressure yourself. No matter what she says. It’s about progress, and baby steps are steps. You are doing great & Im really proud of you. You want to improve and you’re curious about what you could do better that’s what matters 💪🏽

The scale does not mean anything you are doing a change of lifestyle your body needs time to adjust. Keep being very disciplined and you’ll be fine, always weight yourself at the same time or within the same routine cause we don’t weight the same at certain time of the day and according to the daily eating schedule. Keep up the good work with no junk food, no soda.
