I had to blink a couple times when I looked at the scale this morning.
I skipped dinner last night.
Between sweating most of the day refurbing my deck in the 90+ temp and all of the water I drank yesterday, I didn't have an appetite.
225.0 lb Lost so far: 12.0 lb.    Still to go: 48.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks, liv001. I just made a pact with myself. These lbs, are NOT coming back! Even though I didn't have an appetite when went to bed, I dreamt about seafood. I think its because of all of the posts on here. allKeyten77's Gumbo

I believe you are right liv001. I've been keeping my carbs under 20 or close to it. The past 2 days not counting today, I've kept carbs under 10g and lowered my protein % some. Thank you for your encouragement

I guess I should tell my story. I'm 59 n one half. Haha! I've been heavy most of my life. In the mid 90's I decided I was going to get lean. I lost 60lbs in 4 months. My everyday exercise routine consisted of; Ride exercise bike 15 no, 200+ push ups, 2 reps of 10 chinups and 10 pull ups. My diet was zero fat lean chicken. N venison, skim milk and cornflakes. I never looked at the carbs on anything. One night I woke up to my left side of my neck aching.. I called my Dr and he scheduled a dress test for that afternoon. The cardiologist couldn't get my heart rate high enough to determine anything. He told me that he guarantees that 99% chance it's not my heart. That night the same thing happens with the aching in my left side neck. I called my Dr. He called the cardio and he got me in for a nuclear stress test. After reading the test results, he told me, "I know I guaranteed you that there was nothing wrong with your heart, but you have 2-3 major blockages. He did a heart Cath and found 1 artery that was 99% blocked. I watched on a monitor as he installed the stent. I felt so good. I didn't realize how much pain I had been in.. 2 yrs later I had a double bypass. Thinking back now, I realized that I was giving myself heart disease. All carbs, no fat at all. Not blond after I ended up having back surgery 1,2,3 &4. The fourth resulted in replacing 3 discs with artificial ones, 2 rid & 8 screws. That was in 2010. It took me over a year to walk 100 feet. My fiance was in a head on collision the 2nd day after that 4th back surgery. She was brain dead when she got to the same hospital I was in . they put her in a room across the hall from me. Life wasn't worth living to me in those dark times. They say, time heals all wounds. Not true. It just doesn't sting as much as time goes by. So here I am 9yrs later living a sedentary life style. I want to loose my weight, the high risk of diabetics and another heart surgery. I want to find the woman of my dreams and grow old together❤❤ Cath and found 1 99% blocked artery. I believe it was the exercise that got me 4th in and all of the carbs that

😔❤️ thank you for sharing 💕❤️ we all are here because it’s more than weight loss. I shared and , still am sharing and life is life and it’s not the half of it. I think it’s therapeutic to find an outlet. 💜

Absolutely correct jcmama777. That what I really like about fs. Support from ppl using different methods to reach their goals, meeting new friends that Can't see my face ( only because I haven't figured out how to edit my profile pic) hahaha!

I had to do it from the laptop on the website 😊😊I used to be a cheese😂😂 but, it’s one of my favorite foods😋. Try your laptop and we will go from there. I can help you tonight because I’m still wired on prednisone even though I finished it yesterday 🤪🙇🏻‍♀️ Or I can help you tomorrow 😊😊💕

Same here as far as my phone. If you can jump on someone’s computer or an IPad.... I’m 38 and just bought my first and it’s still in the wrapping because I don’t even know what to do with it, anyways it’s the only way I know how to change your picture. I remember asking months ago because I’m so not tech savvy.

Awe thank you❤️😔 I’m not really losing that much a week. My weight with the steroids has fluctuated so much that’s how FS reads it. I’m just all in💜💚 I found FS at what I thought was my ultimate low. Life happens and it did get more crazy after I joined here. Im holding on and fighting the good fight for me. There’s so much going on. I can’t help my family unless I help myself and at the same time, I’m feeling healthy again as far as weight and I’m much better, I guess finding myself so I can carry some much on my shoulders, plate...more like shoulders, because my plate is getting healthy. 💕💜💚💗💚❤️ I’m here for you. Thank you for being there for me.
