Thank you for the psitive comments, Joanna514 and litlered41, it fels good to have positive feedback. Im not fllowing any particular diet plan I just kind of wing it, im learning s I go. I started at over 210 pounds in October, I used to drink soda (coke my favorite cold drink) like it was going out of style, I was the one who would sit in front of the tv or computer for hours ater a long day at work and eat a whole bag of chips, back then my diet consisted of high fat lot of potatoes and gravy starchy foods. So when I decided It was time to change, I started off slow, I cut coke and every other high in sugar drink out of my life, I stuck to what I knew was good for me water so now for 115 days straight I drink only water (I have the odd flavoured tea black). Then I sarted to move more, I ot out my daughters wii and started exercising on the wii fit games like cardio kickboxing, step arobics. One day I was out shoping and came across the biggest looser for the wii, and im now on my 3rd program "slimming weigt loss" an 8 week program im into my 4th week. I've compleated the boot camp 4 week detox program, and the beach buns 8 week program. Three times a week I do 20 - 30min of strength training, and to top it off just bought an elliptical on sale 60% off so ive started on that for 15min a day and yesterday I added 2min. Some say im crazy but oh well it keeps me going but I exercise 7 days a week. I watch and log and keep track of everything I put in my mouth, I have my diary on fs, a book I write down my thoughts, I have a graph chart on my wall so I can see it every day to know how far ive come and where im going, I have a weight book that I log my weigh ins, (and I weigh myself every day) I log my body mass as well as lbs. I havent had white bread, pottoes, butter, no starch, if I have noodles or bread its whole wheat high in fiber. I eat lots and lots of fresh veggies and fruite. I love to steam my veggies brings out the flovour. I just changed my diet a bit as I hit a plateau, and my energy was down so my husband recomened that I need to get more protein. So ive upped my protein intake and im still staying within my rdi. Part of me is obsessed, but I need to do it this way it keeps me focused, and on track. Ihave a ways to go yet, and every day Im learning somthing new, and if I hit a wall I look back and try to see what changed, or what do I need to do now to get to that next goal. Ive learned a lot from fellow fs members, and find it inspiring and motivational to hear and speak to others who have been where I am and are trying to get to a certain destination. What works for my wont work for everyone but if I can help by telling a little about how I got to where im at and if it can help just one person im happy. Be strong, love yourself and you will fall, but get back up and start again.
