I still very much believe in the Atkins diet and it really works for me but I heard about carb cycling on Dr Oz and have looked at three books on the subject. "The Alternate Day Diet seemed most appealing to me. It seemed like the easiest to follow. I did my profile last night which said that on down days that my calorie intake should be 590 and that on up days it should be 1968. I'm going to set it at 500/2000. I'm going to use soups with less than 100 calories per serving for food on my down days along with a combination of fruits and vegetables. I'm looking forward to starting.
