I am going the wrong way! I am an emotional eater. I’m trying to use exercise instead of food and it’s just not working. Don’t want to start on drugs or alcohol. Medical marijuana will just give me the munchies! What to do what to do any suggestions?
217.0 lb Lost so far: 20.0 lb.    Still to go: 47.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I'm not trying to be 'contradictory', I'm being honest when I say that the only thing that works for me, as an emotional eater, is to 'binge' on either exercise (loooong runs) or low carb liquids (I will drink 8 cups of decaf green tea in splenda a day if I have to). I have found no 'solid food' I could safely eat and believe me I-tried-everythig Haha!

I totally understand your frustration. What i found here is a simplistic way to count ALL calories and stay in deficit, thus obsessing over "diet", but beats the alternative of injurung yourself through "overtraining"...At 24, I could handle exercising 3hrs/st most the week. But at 37, it took 4 months to get a lower-back injury....But with age comes wisdom, and im grateful for my injury bc it brought me to this site and some serious self-reflection. Best to you on your Journey. 🙏❤
