Okay, I admit it - my weight's up a couple of lbs. I blame the muscle relaxers (and the lack of exercise & comfort food), though I quit taking them Monday. Clearly I ate way too many calories yesterday. I was strangely hungry yesterday afternoon, & got a bag of potato chips from the vending machine - my bad! Last night I picked up some bananas & protein bars, just in case I felt that hungry again today.

Last night I ran on my treadmill for the 1st time in a couple of months. I ran for about 20 minutes at a slightly slower than 5mph pace. The good news is, today I don't feel any pain in the lower back. My legs are a bit stiff, but that's no big surprise. My desire to start running again (really, I never wanted to quit) was kindled by an upcoming run in October. Surely I can at least do the 5K run by October??? I just need to take it slow and ease myself back into it. I'm also looking at some different running shoes - anybody on FS know anything about Hoka One One shoes???
