So stupid question, when I see people say they are fasting, does that mean no food or drink? or is it simply no food?

When I fast it's no food, but I'll have zero calorie drinks.

I do intermittent fasting and I may break the rules a little because during my fasting time I will drink liquids other than water, usually hot tea with honey.
