Idk what is going on, I have had a good deficit this whole month and I have been fasting for 16 hours almost every day. This is so frustrating. The only thing I can think of is that I have been a bit constipated the last few days, but I don’t think that would account for this much weight gain.

Don't let the scale discourage you. Ups and downs in weight happens a lot. Body retains and drops water for various reasons. Keep working your plan

It's a rollercoaster of ups and downs for me too... I'm all over the place!

I used to feel this way when I was 240 lbs and saw a spike. Then I felt this way when I was 232 lbs when I saw a spike. Then I felt this way when I was 221 lbs and I saw a spike. Now I’m 212 and when the next spike happens I just know that by sticking it out pretty soon I’ll be 200 lbs and be thinking how silly it was to worry about the small spikes when I reached the end goal! We’re running a marathon, not sprinting!

If you are working out doing weights etc. Then you may be building muscle. The best way to tell is are your clothes loser? Also measure yourself. Look at any carb creep or you may be eating too much fat? It is a balancing act. Stay the course. Fasting is so very good for you.

Great Exercise numbers, and excellent daily calorie deficits. Have you been drinking plenty of Water while you are trying to get your Fiber in? If not, that would explain the constipation. When I first started Keto, and started increasing my Fiber, it took me over a week to normalize.

Thank you all for the encouragement, it really means a lot and I am so thankful for this website. I am terrible at drinking water during the work week because I hate the taste of my work water. I am going to get back to bringing my own water from home. I also had ... five shots of espresso yesterday, so I wonder if that could be what messed things up. I haven't done weights in like a month, I mostly have just been taking yoga and walking my dog. However, I did wear a jacket yesterday that fit much better than even a month ago, it used to be too tight to drive in comfortably, but it fit no problem yesterday. It is so much easier to focus on a two pound weight gain vs. clothing fitting better. back to the weight loss grind!

If you don't like paying for bottled water every day, you can just re-use the bottles -- that's what I do. I have two 32-oz bottles that I refill from the fridge water dispenser each morning. If you're only doing the 48-oz challenge, I THINK they make a 24-oz bottle. If not, three of the 16.9 oz will get it all in. If you're REALLY struggling with getting the water in, take six 8-oz bottles with you to work each day and set an alarm on your phone. If you haven't finished a bottle by the time the timer goes off, you have to do it then. I also "reward" myself with a can (or a half of a 12-oz can) of Diet Coke, but I ONLY allow myself to have it after I have gotten in all my water.
