Suzanne, your calories are too low. This could be whats causing the slow weight loss. Women need 1500-1800 calories a day (minimum) for optimal weight loss on Atkins.

yea- but my doctor doesn't agree. Take a look at my calorie intake since may. I was loosing on this calorie intake - infact, when i go to even 900 calories, I gain.

No Dr in his right mind would approve what calorie intake you are doing hon. Sure hope you are taking vitamins!!!

I'd be starving if I only ate that amount of calories.

I was told to stay above 1200 in my diet and have lost 60 pounds from January til now..I started out on 1500 and now down to 1400 and loose about 1 or 2 pounds a week with exercise every day. Be sure you are getting enough nutrients with that low of calories hun.

I know you said your doctor is approving this calorie intake. I would get a second opinion. You are below even starvation mode with these numbers. It is scary.

As a nurse for nearly 20 years, I can't name a single doctor that would approve of your caloric intake. I'm not sure we're getting the whole story. Something just doesn't make sense here.
