I have not been on here lately, but I am doing pretty good. I started reading some stuff about overeaters anonymous. I found a lot of helpful advice and I found a group of people in my area to meet with. I think I will try it tonight. They use a 12 step program like alcoholics or narcotics anonymous uses. I have always had an addictive personality, so I figure this will help me out in more than one aspect of my life. I have finally got my husband to help me out. At first he wouldn't understand how important it was to me, but he is there for me now. I let him decide when I can have ice cream or junk food. We went out for blizzard from Dairy Queen yesterday and I was suprised that I was not even craving ice cream at the time. It was nice to not feel like a junkie needing a fix! Everyday I write down what I will eat for the day and it helps me to see what food groups I need to add or leave out for each meal. I have been doing pretty good at sticking to it. I really need to watch my portion sizes, but I'm getting there. I haven't gone on any crazy binges lately, so that is worth it alone.
106.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.3 lb a week

that's great! it's all a mental game and it's hard to separate what your brain is saying from what your body will tell you. sounds like you have managed to get a lot of the sugar cravings out of your system! i find i have to log everything i eat, not so much for calories, but also to make sure i'm getting the right amount of nutrients. hope thing sare still going well for you! glad to hear your husband is being understanding.
