Hmm the body is being nice to me. Or was I nice to it? 🤔

I’ve had one turkey meal, one dip meal and a pizza meal. I’ve had at least 2-3 bottles of water per day and some tea and/or coffee and maybe 3-5 pops a week thrown in.

I’ve changed. I dislike change but I do like this one. Well three lol. One is that when I reach for a pop I don’t feel good about it. I stop myself and think if I really want it. I do lol. Two is that last night about 3 am(yes I went to bed early-12:30 am) I woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep because I was so thirsty. I even drank a bottle of water before bed! I got up and didn’t really pay attention until I laid back down that I had grabbed a bottle of water without thinking about it and had drank half of it on the way back to bed. Having the rest now along with coffee. Propel has went from tolerable to something I enjoy drinking and also a habit to grab one over a soda. Three.. went jeans shopping yesterday. Decided to try a size smaller just to see how far I could get them up. A couple months ago I could barely get them above my knees. Yesterday I got them on! Not too tight. Not too loose. Now I can see where waking they might pinch my rear end but they also have a bit of stretch so would loosen up a bit after an hour or two. I’ve been wearing my western size 5/6 and hadn’t worn my 6’s in this brand in probably a month. So size 4 for me! My goal was a 3,4 or 5 because that’s what my ‘old’ jeans are. Some 1s but yeah, don’t think I want to get that small.

I still have lots of fat to lose but I’m happy if for some reason I couldn’t lose another pound. My daughter is now 5’4” and I’m 5’3 3/4” so she has me by 1/4”. She teased me that now she’s the tallest female on my side AND the skinniest. Well we will see about that! Just once I need to weigh less than her. She’s 111 or was two weeks ago. So I need to keep losing while plumping her up! Lol that’s a joke folks! She’s almost 13 and eats double what I do. She’s in the gym playing sports or PE 2-2.5 hours per week day plus helps us for an hour on the weekends. She’s building muscle constantly which is great and it’ll also help me get lower than her hehe. I’ll have to explain she’s more muscle than me when that happens but it’s all good. Little shit is just like me so I’m guessing she’s challenging herself for whatever reason so I’ll help her along. She has very little fat but would like to change her composition a bit. Basically she wants her thighs to be solid muscle with very little softness. She won’t however get me to run with her to meet her goal lol. Geez I hate running.

Lol Chris. I was 110 at 16 😳. My daughter is 111. So I still want to be high school weight lol. I graduated about 115-118. However she’s taller than me now and still growing! She is 5’4” and I am 5’3 3/4” so she now has 1/4” on me. She grew about 6” around a year ago. Over just a couple months too and her shoe size went from a 5 to a 6 over a year then a month later she was a 7.5 and now a 9! We got to share shoes for one month lol. I’m med/lg in women’s and she’s mostly a sm/med so before long we will be able to share clothes!

Thanks ladies! My daughter tends to take competition too far. An example was right after chemo she taunted me daily that she was stronger and more fit. Reminding her what I’d just went through along with her being 24 years younger than me just made her bring it up more. One day I told her we would just see and I’d lay her on the ground. Her response was ‘try it’. Lol I grabbed her and threw her over my shoulder and she said never mind lol. About killed me to do it but I couldn’t let her see that. Now she’s in a good mood and it’s friendly competition. If it becomes mean again or she gets obsessive then we will stop. So far so good though! I also have the advantage. She will gain no matter what as long as she’s working out and playing sports and eating like she does. I can lose 10# and she would catch me soon. Also I could lose more and quicker if I were willing to lose a lot of muscle too which I’m not. I bet by summer we will be the same weight but she will have better body composition 😉.

Yes however it’ll take me much longer to change my body composition than to just get a lower weight 😉. Once I’m at a low weight and more fat off then I plan on lifting again. Probably join body pump if it’s spring or summer.
