I’ve been working hard on my diet and exercise for months, but have been putting in a whole lot of extra effort before I see all family & friends for the holiday. Is anyone else doing this or is it just me???
202.6 lb Lost so far: 81.0 lb.    Still to go: 52.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 4.3 lb a week

First- I am proud of your accomplishment! Second- you better believe I am one of MANY people who aspire to have family and friends notice a positive change. Honestly- I am skipping Thanksgiving, watching the Bears game, hanging out with my dogs and older sister, and celebrating with fresh juice and homemade soup. I think I'll feel better and be healthier to enjoy Christmas w/o feeling so self-conscious. I'm sick of the looks and whispers of "Damn, she got fat." It hurts but I'm changing it.

I am as well. I looked at a picture from last Xmas and I'm determined to loose at least 20 pounds by this xmas

Me too, i wanted to get sorted before as its the run up to christmas thats dangerous for me, a week back in the uk catching up with family and friends every day and every meet seems to revolve around food, then a week at mine with various visitors over so we will be going out a lot. I am trying to behave in the weeks beforehand to give myself some leeway.
